Green Hills Foods Pistachio cold pressed Oil is extracted from the nut of the pistachio. Pistachio is a nutritionally rich nut. The nut is packed with B complex vitamins like riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, folate and thiamine. It is rich in minerals like copper, magnesium, selenium, protein, zinc, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium and phosphorus. Pistachio Oil is used primarily in culinary applications however; it is also ideal for many massage, aromatherapy and cosmetic applications.

Pistachio oil is a beautiful crystalline bright green, with a heady aroma and a distinctive pistachio taste adding unique flavour to cooking ready to use in vinaigrettes for vegetable salad or in grain salads such as couscous or quinoa. Pistachio oil works best with freshly squeezed orange juice and a dash of honey to make vinaigrette to dress a salad. One of the most talked about benefits of pistachio oil is its effect on skin health. Healthy-looking skin can be a distant dream if you are not consuming pistachio oil on a regular basis. Pistachio oil has a low Smoke point 200ºF.
