Thyme Oil (Thymus vulgaris) is an evergreen herb with culinary, medicinal, and ornamental uses. Thyme is of the genus of the mint family and a relative of the oregano genus. Medicinally thyme is known for its antiseptic, antispasmodic, expectorant, stimulant and disinfectant properties. High in thymol, the essential oil of the common garden thyme is a must for diffusion during cold and flu season.
