Baking powder is a dry chemical leavening agent, comes pre-mixed with the acidic ingredient so all we need to add is the moisture. The acidic ingredient most often used in baking powder is cream of tartar. Baking powder is used for increasing the volume and lightening the texture of baked goods.
Ingredients: Calcium Acid Phosphate, Bicarbonate of Soda, Corn-starch (from Non-genetically Modified Corn).
Use Green Hills Foods Baking powder in any baking recipe calling for baking powder. Use dry utensil and replace cover promptly. Store in cool, dry place.
